My Blessing

➕Power of Prayer. I was told I couldn’t have a child, I prayed, persistently, and God gave me my Blessing, a little girl. This poem is dedicated to God! Thank you for my precious child➕

Years ago,
A prayer answered,
“God, please give me one child!”
Then a Blessing from God,
You are so precious, Jessi!
a pretty baby girl,
with a pretty smile,
and those cute little red curls,
you are my angel,
sent just for me,
I will never ever let you go,
You are always in my heart,
for you are my little girl,
Now your time has come,
for your gift to enter our world,
I am so glad God gave you your gift,
of a precious baby girl,
Kayden!
a pretty baby girl,
with a pretty smile,
and same cute red little curls,
She is your angel,
And a part of me,
I will never ever let you two go,
You will always be in my heart,
With unconditional love,
for you both are my little girls.

Years ago when God promised me one, Jessica,
I could never have dreamed; one would become Two!
You see Jessica, that is how our father in heaven works!
God always gives us more than we ask for, You and your baby are proof!
My Heart’s desire filled and overflowing, from a prayer, answered years ago.

Dedicated to my Beautiful daughter “Jessica” and all my grandbabies! I just believe and have faith my cup will keep overflowing! My family has indeed grown with five beautiful blessings of grandchildren.

  1. You girls look too young to be grand parents. I think I understand how your blog works, I check to see what the subjects are, write on it and post to your wall…do I have it right???? Can’t you tell I am new at this, not blogging but sharing the way you all do, love it.

    1. Yes! When I saw that you had posted that on Facebook, that one of them called you Oma, I thought it was adorable. With my first grandchild, I researched the many names, wondering what I should be called. I had a name picked out for years from the movie, (lol) Neverland. The nanny was called Nonna. I held on to it till my first was born.
