Pure Unconditional❤️

Holy Ghost Filled Water!

My secret payer had been for God to restore joy. Then my Pastor, announced during a sermon, God was going to answer our secret prayers, no one else knew, except God. That Sunday as I drove home, the Lord gave me the following words…”Lay me down in that cool crisp water, Lay me down and Baptize me in that Holy Ghost filled water.” God was reminding me of the joy of my own baptism.

Then a sensation started in my belly and rose out of my mouth and it was pure sweet laughter, laughter so sweet and joyful, I knew it had come from God, I had not laughed with joy in so long, God blessed me profoundly I was laughing with God!!! God had given me a new song, and a laugh of victory!I was a child of God!

Psalms 2:4 He who sits in Heaven shall laugh, the Lord shall have them (Enemy) in dirision (Mockery or ridicule)!!! Thank you, Jesus!!!

We have the Victory, in our repentance and Baptism!

When you are baptized, and come out of the water, there is unspeakable joy, burden are gone, sins washed away! I cant even explain how good it feels, to know your sins are gone, as far as east is to west!

Oh how sweet the sensation of the Holy Ghost filled water as it covered me

a sinner in need, hanging by a thread , hopeless for love,

feeling worthless, desperately in need of a saviors touch

Oh how sweet the sensation of the Holy Ghost filled water as it covered me

that cool crisp water, as I lay me down, my sins washed away

Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down

Cleanse my soul, and make me new, finding a path unto you.
Lay me down and bury me deep, make my sins go far from you.
Lay me down and baptize me in that Holy Ghost filled water.
Lay me down and baptize me, in that cool crisp water.

In Jesus name, all things are made new, and your soul shall be saved.
Lay me down and baptize me, in that cool crisp water.
Lay me down and bury me deep, wash my sins away,

Oh how sweet the sensation of the Holy Ghost filled water as it covered me

Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down and baptize me…..in Jesus name.
Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down
So I can be free.

Oh how sweet the sensation of the Holy Ghost filled water as it covered me.

Lay me down and baptize me, in that cool crisp water.
Lay me down and baptize me, in that Holy Ghost Filled Water.
Lay me down and bury me deep, wash my sins away,
Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down and baptize me…..in Jesus name.
Lay me down
Lay me down
Lay me down

Oh how sweet the sensation of the Holy Ghost filled water as it covered me!!

I Pray For Your Love Song!

Time has passed, and I am not so young.
My old love went away, breaking my heart each day, isn’t that enough? Then you take our little girl, treating me like I was dirt.
Must you destroy her too?
There I stood in that motel room, believing all was lost.
In that old drawer were words that leaped up, a gift of a bible.
It was as if an eternity had passed, and your words just grabbed me up.
You walked every step of my life as it fell apart all those years ago.
Pushing me up, swirling colors of emotion playing a love song made just for me!
You reached down and brought me up from the depths of despair and encircled me with your love.
The melody of the song drawing me ever near to love so profound and dear!
I thought I would surely die until you showed me how to fight.
Not with weapons, hate, or violence, only with love, could wrong be undone.
I knelt before you, and that candlelight glowed!
I prayed for the one who tried to destroy my soul!
Mercy and Protection
Words of forgiveness flowed
The light dissolved my pain, turning my scars into beauty, dignity, and respect.
Embraced by my heavenly father’s love, the Holy Spirit in motion. Heard my cries down on my knees crying out; father, please!
In the wink of an eye, he placed my child back in my loving arms.
All things are possible for those who believe, just like when God serenaded a wretch like me?
With his love song, long ago.

Heavenly Father, I glorify and lift you, because you are worthy, worthy of praise, you are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, Healer, Advocate, Almighty, Author, and Perfecter of Our Faith, Deliver, Faithful and True! The Great I Am, the King of Kings, the Light of the World. Humbly, I offer gratitude and thanks for all you have done in my life and all that you will do still. I praise you for you are Holy and I love you, I adore you, the lifter of my soul. Lord, I pray just as you poured your loves song into me that you would pour it out to all who are in need tonight who are going through the storms of life. May you serenade them with the word, which is truth, and encircle them with your overflowing, unconditional love, in Jesus’s name. Amen!

Feeling the Divine Presence

I reach for you knowing you are near.

I step out in Faith hoping to draw closer.

My heart is pounding.

I stand with my arms wide open.

I can fill you in my stillness.

Not a shadow, nor a face.

My fear is gone.

I feel a comfort that runs deep.

I look up and I am amazed, for coming right at me are the, Living Waters of Grace.

I am so excited, waiting, anticipating, then I feel the sweet sensations of living water flowing over me.

I stand with arms wide open.

To receive, the beautiful gift of your Holy Spirit, dwelling inside me.

Hope is all around.

I stand washed anew, Assured in my salvation, Overwhelmed in your grace.

Living water flowing over me, Washing my sin clean.

Living water setting me free;

Sickness gone,

Suffering gone,

Fear gone,

Bondage gone,

Addiction gone,

Living water flowing over me.

Jesus is here, Jesus is here, Jesus is here!

Lift up your hands and feel living waters flowing over you and me.

Living Waters of Grace, Living Waters of Grace, Living Waters of Grace.

Lift up your hands and feel living waters flowing over you and me.

Good bye Anger, Bitterness and Rage!

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Psalm 121 asks the question, “where does my help come from?”  There is chaos all around on earth! America is being shaken! Money won’t fix all your problems. Moving wont stop Covid-19, protestors, or calamity! New ideas or a political party, or who will be the next president won’t help you at the deepest levels of your life. To wear or not to wear a mask  is mute. You simply need God! LOOK UP!

Because these other false gods can’t bring peace to the soul, heal you or deliver this country! You must look above the mess and focus on Jesus!

Read his word, get into a devotion plan, fasten your eyes, heart and soul on Jesus!

Pray, say his name! Jesus! Lord help us!

Where is Jesus? Jesus is right here with us in our midst, waiting to hear you call his name! Call him! You are loved far more than you know by a God who formed you in your mothers womb and knew you before you ever arrived on this planet! You are his creation! LOVED BY A  MIGHTY GOD!

The psalmist in the bible then says —

My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Only God !!!

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Calling All Moms!

Just had to share this awesome devotion today, as it spoke to my heart, because we moms tend to beat ourselves up over our mothering skills.

I found this on YouVersion

Breathing Eden : Conversations With God • Devotional

woman in gray tank top

I WANTED TO BE A MOM. I wanted to stay home with these precious kids. I quit my job, surrendered my identity—the young, just-out-of-business-school-turned-professional. I believed my choice was narrow—just one or the other: Be a mom or work. (Are these my only choices, God?) I didn’t want to miss puddle-jumping, block-building, hand-holding, park-playing days like this one. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to make that decision. I am. I just didn’t know I would struggle so much. I didn’t know this would be so hard.

I thought I would feel different, God. I thought I would do this better—that I would be more organized and wouldn’t feel so depleted all the time. I said I wanted to stay home with my babies, and I know it is so amazing that I can. But here is what is hard to admit, even to you: I don’t like it as much as I thought I would. I’m afraid I’m not good at it. I’m even less confident now that we have two.

I’m going to mess them up, God. I know I am. I lose my temper, I raise my voice. And when I am not yelling out loud, I feel like I am screaming inside. I know that’s an exaggeration. That sounds so melodramatic, “screaming inside.” But no other words feel right.

Why do I feel so trapped, so stuck? I don’t know who I am, or what I love to do, or what it is that might be fun for me anymore. I should feel parenting is so fun, so completely fulfilling. I’m sorry that, right now, I don’t, and it isn’t. I’m sorry for who I am. I’m sorry I am so far from you and don’t know how to find my way back.

Can you help me find my way back?

DAUGHTER, YOU CAN BE ANGRY. I can take it. You can be sad. I can take that too. Keep running to me when you are sad and overwhelmed, and I will give you what you need to get through a day. You think that you are camouflaged, but I see all.

You can do this, you know. You can mother him and love him, and I will help you find your way. You ask me what you love? Who you are?

Let me tell you what I see: I see you. I see you in the early mornings when the baby is crying and you rise. I see you bend to scoop him up out of his crib, hear how you sing to him. I watch how you stumble, so tired, back to a rumpled bed.

May I sing to you now? May I sing to you, my daughter who is found?

Lift up your head, my darling. Lift up your head, and see me looking at you. I have made you with beauty. I have made you with strength. I have made you with tenderness, a soft heart for me that will sustain you. I sustain you. Keep your heart soft, and I will sustain you. Keep yourself vulnerable, and I will lift you. Keep yourself close to me, and I will show you, step by step, what it is you love, what it is in you I see.

There’s a lot coming, dear one. You are both a light that shines and a warrior in my name. How this looks—your life in me—will unfold as you trust me. In you, I keep creating, dear one. I love being with you as we partner in your work, bringing what is to come.

Yes, I see you. And I want you to begin this day again, knowing I see you, knowing I know you. I dance over you. My gladness overflows.

You are my dear heart, my bright flower. I father you and I mother you. I care for you, and you rise again, letting me lead, letting me take charge, letting me be the door you walk through each day when you are lost and you are wondering how, again, you can face another day.

You don’t need to face another day alone. You can greet each day with me. You can rise with me, stay with me, listen for me. In the creak of the high chair at lunchtime. In the jingling of toys as Jonathan and Lucas laugh and cry and play. In the hush or whimpers of the night.

My strength is enough for you. My presence is with you. My Spirit is in you.

I sustain you, never leave you. There is good coming.

There is good right here.

Father, you are unashamed of me—your love is wild and perfect. I love how you have made me. I love how I don’t have to hide from you, no matter what I am feeling. You give me a voice to call out to you, and you answer. You reveal to me yourself, showing how you are present with me, how you care for me, how you hold me and never let me go. I have what it takes to love those you’ve given me to love. I have what it takes to get through this day, holding your hand. Help me to do all these things, knowing I stay with you. In your name, Jesus, Amen.

Friday Thoughts!

Hello Readers!

I’m just sitting here, drinking coffee,  thinking about you and just hoped you took time to enjoy this  beautiful glorious day outside our homes! Look at what that the Lord has given us! Such Glory on earth!

Use your day wisely, be Kind and share the Love of  Jesus with everyone you come in contact  with today, even the ones that make it hard to do so as they need Jesus just like all of us!

I watched a red headed wood pecker, or what looked like one in my front yard, squirrels playing, little swarms of bugs that looked like dust fairies floating in patterns and a Beautiful Blue Bird came by to sing! Way too fast for my camera phone, yet I got pics of all spring plants popping up below.

Have a great day and be blessed.

We Give This World Back To God

My Heart is Crying, listen and believe!

Back To God

Reba McEntire

Oh have you looked around
Have you heard the sound
Of Mama’s cryin’
Or do you turn away
When you see the face
Of the innocent dyin’
In these darkest days
Are you not afraid
That it’s too late
You gotta get down on your knees, believe
Fold your hands and beg and plead
Gotta keep on praying
You gotta cry, rain tears of pain
Pound the floor and scream His name
‘Cause we’re still worth saving
Can’t go on like this and live like this
We can’t love like this
We gotta give this world back to God
Have you lost a love?
Do you feel like givin’ up?
Has your heart been broken?
Are your kids okay?
Will they come home safe?
Do you lie there hoping?
You can make a wish, you can knock on wood
Oh it won’t do no good
You gotta get down on your knees, believe
Fold your hands and beg…

Tuesday Thoughts! TRUST IN YOU!

I believe God is have hearing our prayers, may you trust his timing, God will heal our land and save our planet.

God knows all our needs even before we ask. Let us ask the Lord this morning for strength, praising God we have been given this day, with breath in our bodies! We give thanks for what we have and are grateful. Is he not the Lord our God, who takes our right hand and says to us , do not fear, I will HELP you!

God says call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Every-time we stretch our faith God does miracles. It’s easy to have faith in light, in the darkness, we walk by faith itself.

When God is sought in desperation, he responds to soul stirring prayers. Which result in answered prayers. Does God not say; For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. 💯❤️

Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for hearing our cries and answering our soul stirring prayers, thank you for the strength you provide to us today. God may we cast all our concerns and fears upon you, for you are able to help in our time of need …………………………………………….

“Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.” Psalm 55:22. God loves us beyond our wildest imaginations. We must trust that in our muddy mess, He is in the process of showing us how to rely on Him for everything

Lord you say ” Come to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest!” Father not only do we come to you, we ask you to forgive us our sins, to enter in our homes, hearts, mind and soul, we seek refuge from you in the days ahead that you will give us shelter from the most high covering us with your wings protecting us all, pleading the precious blood of Jesus upon us all, lifting a hedge of protection over and around the human race spiritually , physically, mentally and emotionally believing God will answer our cry’s, standing in faith, holding onto Hope, believing the best is yet to come! We trust in You, In Jesus name! Amen!

Binding Prayers!

The Word of God tells us that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much” (James 5:16).

Deuteronomy 32:30 gives us a glimpse of the effect that our prayers have in the spiritual realm by revealing to us that one person’s prayer has the power to put one thousand angels to flight; and two people’s prayers can put ten thousand angels to flight! Imagine that!

This revelation is powerful. If every person reading this post bind their prayers, then there is a probability that over 2,000,000 angels are in flight!💖

Imagine what a group of praying people can do binding prayers; now imagine a church full of  folks; now imagine a stadium full, and then a nation full of God’s people lifting up prayers on behalf of the people. Oh my God, no enemy in hell even stands a chance of winning! The angels of God will flood the heavens, the atmosphere, and the earth- all because God’s people prayed.

Heavenly Father,

Tonight I lift the world to you, praying for Hope, Faith, Love and Courage as we stand in the face of a pandemic. I pray for Peace in the Chaos, Courage in face of Fear, and I pray for Faith to get us through. I pray for revival and for salvation of lost souls, I ask for protection over family and friends, the human race, I ask for healings though out our bodies, deliverance from strongholds, for saints who lost thier way to come back home,  I ask for supplies to the poor, medicine for those in need, please bless our Christian troops with necessities, strategic wisdom, praying for reinforcements, success of other missionaries, unity and harmony in the ranks, encouragement of togetherness, kindness, compassion and empathy, discernment in tough decisions, knowledge to know and discover your will, to establish a closer relationship , to know you, our God, on a more personal level, gaining understanding of the comprehension of the love of Christ. May we all be Believing and having Faith with sense of assured Hope, Strength and Endurance, that our Faith not be destroyed, yet grow in leaps and bounds, not fall into temptation. We believe you God that you  would complete a good work, forgiveness of our sins, granting protection from the evil one, as we plead the blood of Christ, that in the spiritual realm Gods army establish leadership in the outposts, raising of the dead, miraculous signs, deliverance, casting out of demons, healings, healing of wounded comrades, signs and wonders, boldness in proclamation, God would direct the use of the sword, God would vindicate his people in their cause, fullness of the Holy Spirit, God would exalt his name in the world, gospel would speed ahead and be honored, and God would extend his kingdom in the world. We submit and surrender Oh Lord asking you to show mercy in your loving kindness! Son of David, have mercy on us children of the earth, In Jesus name. Amen

Prayer & Mercy for your Enemies!

God tells us to specifically pray for our enemies, we all have enemies, knowingly and unknowingly. How you handle them, shows your spiritual growth. When you pray for your enemies it draws God in by Faith.

I just want the adversary to know, I love my enemies.

In the beginning, trying to pray for my enemies was awful, I did not want to pray for them, they had hurt me badly, trying to destroy me, with words, actions, attacks and it took alot of work in me, through the love of Christ, before I was able to pray my first prayer for an enemy. Then through the guidance and love of the Holy Spirit, God showed me how to look past the actions of my enemies, and to look at their heart, seeing they are really just in pain, bruised from life , needing the Love of Jesus!

Jesus worked a miracle in my life by getting me to pray for my enemies, teaching me how to love them.

In my own personal situation, distancing myself from those who hurt me and going silent, gave me quiet time that was needed for God time, reflection and healing. Sometimes, you have to remove yourself from the person, in order to heal yourself, then you can begin to pray for that individual. God does something remarkable, he brings peace, love, forgiveness and restoration to both parties. God is always on time. So today, stop and pray for those who come against you, as if they were your most cherished love one, and watch a miracle unfold. Love you all!

Dear Lord

My enemies are hurt people, who are broken, who heart people , who are just as overwelmed by life events , just like me.

Hurt people hurt people.

It is written “It is a good thing to give thinks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, Oh most high:

Lord today I pray MERCY for us all, that you  “to show forth your loving kindness in the morning and thy faithfulness every night.”

Let our prayers become “upon an  instruments of ten strings, and upon psaltery, upon the harp with a solemn sound.” Our prayers would be beautiful music to your ears!

“For thou Lord, hast made me glad through thy works; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.” You are the master potter and we rejoice.

“Oh Lord, how great are thy works!and thy thoughts are very deep.” I can only imagine your thoughts are as deep as the ocean and as far as the constellations of the heavens. Even the stars were an afterthought of extreme beauty.

I pray all enemies would come to know you as their Lord and Savior, that they would repent and seek a relationship with you, and experience the miracle of Grace.

May our enemies be blessed coming in and going out, may all their needs be meet  on this day, may they have food , shelter, clothing and a place to lay their head and be safe.

May our enemies be in excellent health , strong, hard-workers, may all their families prosper and know God.

May all plans, schemes, strategics of the enemy , generational curses, evil curses, lies of the enemy be broken, cancelled, voided and rebuked through the wonder working power of the blood of Jesus.

Lord I  understand, people aren’t our enemy! Our enemy is Satan and the attack is spiritual in source and nature. That people are used as pawns in his attacks against each of us. These children of God who are saved and unsaved need prayer and protection. The enemy is Satan not people.

The cause is a spiritual agenda that wants to stop you from doing the things you are doing that is infringing on the kingdom of darkness.

Equip us Oh Lord through Prayer, Fasting and reading of the word of God. Let go and let God battle for us and raise a standard when the real enemy comes in like a flood.

Lord may we draw on your strength, when the battle gets hard, may the Holy Spirit lift and carry us, lest we dash our foot on a stone and when Satan comes like a roaring lion to devour, may we open our mouths and let the ROAR of God and his words be heard, unleashed, as our redeemer draws near! For God is for us, and will never forsake us! May God be our Strength always! For God is Victorious! The battle belongs to the Lord!

Luke 6:27-36 New International Version (NIV)

Love for Enemies

27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Re-post due to Web glitch!

Autumn came and left with a blink, sometimes flaunting her fiery leaves and other times shyly waves good-bye in one big wind storm.Christmas is now only fifteen days away and an icy cold front, possibly snow, is already headed our way. Candles, firewood, lots of treats, all collected in case we have no heat.

2 candle
While small children dream of Christmas thoughts in their heads of Rudolph, Frosty and Great Saint Nick. Older folks just laugh and declare Christmas is about Baby Jesus and he made Ole Saint Nick!

Bible stories from ages past, still declare the same truth at last, Jesus came as a babe in a manger, as the barn animals gazed, it was the three wise men who fell in a daze, before them was a holy sight not seen,a child so holy they fell upon their knees. Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ, Son of God, a King!

The ultimate gift of Love, God wrapped in the flesh, born to a virgin, who came to give us life. God has never forsaken us! Every year my tree, is a remembrance of that unconditional LOVE!

Leviticus 23:40 says – And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
Some believe this verse means the tree isa celebratory symbol based on the worship of God!

When families gathers, Oh what a feast, turkey, ham, bread, pie, cakes and all kinds of delights, nothing in comparison to our “Future Kings Feast” that is yet to come!

How the Littlest Angel turned Sobbing to Joy!

The Lord God Almighty stood before his angels, looking intently at the human race. God’s voice roared announcing to his Warrior Angels he had a very important mission for them, that they were to descend upon the earth and find all the prayers of his faithful servants, who praised and worshipped him in the Christmas Season, his earthly birthday.

The angels that will live forever passed the powers as they parted allowing them to go down to earth in a spiraling mass of anticipation, seeking beloved saints, who had stayed the course and remained faithful. When the last and littlest angel passed the powers they turned and closed up the realm of heaven.

“Yonah” which means, “Dove” was the littlest angel of the masses who quickly flew to catch up with his fellow warrior angles, His heart-shaped face, was in deep concentration encased with reddish hair, and deep soulful blue eyes. Yonah was breathtakingly beyond beautiful, a creature blessed by God, for what he lacked in size he had in strength and heart. He paused in his descent, and hovered with the light fluttering of his wings, he looked in all directions and noticed how still and quiet it was, something was not right. With that thought he folded his wings inward and dove, he had to find her, maybe she was still praying, for he knew he could detect the weakest of prayers. Down he went.

Cindy was winding down and watching the six o clock news, her coffee had grown cold, oh, why in the world did she turn that dang TV on, there was never any good news unless you counted the weather report, and all it showed was a forecast of possible snow and ice. Her thoughts drifted to the last few years, she could not remember the last time she had felt joy, she remembered her episodes of sobbing and feeling of hopelessness, after her husband walked out and abandoned her, the rug being pulled out from under her when housing market started to falter and her boss laid her off, then the economy crashed and the bottom fell out, her savings went to help her daughter finish school and to help her with attorney fees in a heated custody battle over her granddaughter, now she was in her second extension of lay off, she had lost her home, had to give away all her belongings, her car engine blew, and she only had five weeks of unemployment left. During all this time she had been sick with a thyroid issue, she gained over fifty pounds, three fourths of her hair fell out, she had a cyst in her breast, severe acid re flux, she went from the person she recognized to looking like a stranger, then came the allergic reactions, inability to breath, then her doctor let her go as a patient, saying she was too difficult to treat, she could no longer focus, or keep her thoughts straight, she kept writing notes to herself so she would not forget what she needed to do or what she had said to someone in conversation, her family relationships became strained, her friends walked away without even looking back. Job-hunting was hopeless; she did not even have a college degree. There were no jobs to compete for, in one year she had, one interview. Sadly she had fallen away from her church family, not by her choice, it just happened slowly like her thyroid disease, at first she felt nothing unusual, then she was hit with a powerful punch, that near bought knocked her off her feet. It wasn’t just one thing but an accumulation of many things, hurtful things, things she did not know how to talk about, how to express, like a vine twisting up her body sucking the life out of her little by little, her family’s lack of understanding and indifference, having to go to the hospital alone, time after time, scarred out of her wits, barely able to breath, excruciating chest pains, inability to sleep, and the pain in her muscles that hurt her to her core daily. She felt betrayed, and buried so far into the pit of despair she did not know how to climb out. No one from her church had ever called her, instead, they just talked about her, called her backslidden, made fun of her weight, and snickered about her, and who she was before she found Christ. Jesus had wiped her sins clean, but her fellow man continued to judge her, and as hard as she tried to be a part of the church family, she was rejected and persecuted time after time. They were so worried about her outward appearance they never stopped to look at her inward appearance and the change God was doing in her life. That was when she began to visit other churches, looking for a family to accept her and love her. She let go of her family church, yet she remained faithful in prayer and her love for God.

The Spirit of Torment keep circling Cindy, giggling in evil ragged laughs, it was working, he just about had her where he wanted her if only he could break her will to pray, then she was his. No Matter how he tormented her, he could not touch her family as she prayed daily the word of God to cover them, it was just a matter of time, she would break, and in arid anticipation he rubbed his long bony fingers together, when all of a sudden he noticed, a gleam of light approaching, and he swiftly hid and was angered to see “Yonah” approaching, one of God’s Warrior Angels. The Spirit of Torment snorted in disgust, warrior indeed, besides Gabriel, he looked like a child, even though he was fully formed. Yonah was actually encouraging good thoughts to Cindy, what was he doing, he was ruining all his hard work, noooooooo, Cindy was getting on the floor, he and Yonah both heard her knees crackle and crunch, as her weight bore down, she bent over and put both hands out to lower herself to the ground, and promptly fell, pushed more like it, flat on her face.

Cindy laid on the floor, sobbing, in disparity, all she can mutter is one word. “Jesus”! Yonah continues to encourage her, and The Spirit of Torment becomes enraged.

Her sobbing turns to wailing and in the midst of her wailing “The Holy Spirit of God” moves in to intercede, and her tongue starts to flow in the heavenly language, she pours out her soul, slamming her fist from time to time “God, please do not forsake us, forgive us, Lord!” As the prayer pours forth from her mouth, Yonah snatches up the words and races toward heaven with her prayer in his hands, with The Spirit of Torment, hot on his trail. The Spirit of Torment pulls out his bow and aims and let’s go with his arrow racing through the air, piercing Yonah, who cries out and begins to fall, and The Spirit of Torment races past him, to help in the battle ahead.

Yonah examines his wound as he hides in the clouds, and decides to head home, the Master is waiting, and he does not want to disappoint the Lord. With grit and determination he heads to the heavenly realm and what he sees, is beyond his wildest perception, there are no Powers guarding the realm of heaven, and fearfully he approaches and looks up over the edge, and before him as far as his eyes can see is a great battle. Blue realms turning gray to black, between the Lords angels and the Angels who deserted God and now sided with the Destroyer. The battle is fierce, sword clashes against sword, shields are drawn, and held high to protect, and in the middle is a dragon called Legion, who is churning out battle orders harshly and has eight voices talking at once. Yonah begins to doubt himself, he is a warrior angel who is scared to go in battle, and in order to reach the Lord he must go through the battlefield, oh, where and how can he get his strength and a plan. Then he remembers Cindy, she is the answer, so he heads back to earth, and the demon is gone, thinking he has won, Cindy is laying on the ground spent exhausted and worn out, she says, God, you promised to never leave us, you promised in your word you would fight for us, and have mercy upon us, Lord, I have faith in your, Lord please defend us, and she continues to sob, God, I am here use me Lord, what can I do , I am nothing , one person, and Yonah smiles and slowly allows

Cindy to feel his pain, torment, and the heat of the battle, with an unexpected fierceness of rage, Cindy slams her fist into the ground and screams “NO MORE”, and the Holy Spirit of God begins to intercede, and Cindy rages into speaking in tongues, battling for what she knows not…….. Cindy prays as if her life depended on it. She pressed forward, and unseen to Cindy, Yonah, began to glow with a bright stars brilliance, and his wings surged with strength, and power filled his limbs and a sword dropped into his hand, and Yonah raced back to the realm of heaven and in the first blow the littlest warrior angel destroyed half of Satan’s army, as Yonah fluttered above the battle field, he dove to strike his next blow and the defected angels and demons fled, and Yonah was face to face, with Legion, and all eight of his voices ragged blasphemies at him , and with one swift blow, with the word of God, his sword, Yonah took off his head and the voices spoke no more, and the powers returned to the realm. Yonah swiftly gathered all the prayers that were dropped during battle and along with Cindy’s prayer ascended to heaven to the Throne and bowed at the Lord’s feet and presented all the prayers of the saints on Christmas Eve. The Lord God Almighty smiled and hugged the littlest angel saying “Job well done”! God then turned as the angels rejoiced and opened up the heavens and poured forth his blessings unto his children. Peace returned to the earth, at the same time it flooded Cindy where she laid, and she began to sing and rejoice in the Lord! Cindy stood and dusted herself off; her sobbing had been replaced with joy and she began to dance before the Lord!

In the year to come God ordered restoration to his faithful saints, with blessings beyond measure! As a child of God Cindy hardly understood all that had transpired, what gained the victory was allowing herself to be used, pressing forward and having faith and trusting the Lord even when she didn’t understand, what was important was she remembered to leave herself open to God’s calling.

The End!

Dear God,

At times I am amazed at the love you have for us, thank you for sending your son, so that we might be saved. Thank you for your priceless gift of love. Lord, we ask you to move through our great nation, a nation which was built “In God we trust”, on a solid rock foundation. Lord, our rock has been shaken as we as a nation moved away from thy precepts, forgive us, Lord. Lord, we bow to you in humility, and humbleness, we call on your holy name we pray and ask for your forgiveness and ask that this would be a new era that would heal our land and once more make us into a proud Godly nation united under you, our Lord and Savior. We ask and seek your presence in our government, our homes, our schools, our workplaces, our judicial system, our healthcare, and for the one true God to be present in our churches. Wake us up and stir us up Lord to do your calling and your will, give us insight, wisdom, to be spiritual leaders, and guidance to succeed. As in Joel 2:12- we are coming to you Lord with all our heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with morning, until every hindrance is removed and fellowship is restored. In 2 Chronicles 7:14- If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.

My father, let those who are tired come to you, the lost, the brokenhearted, the despondent, and the hopeless. I have heard it said that you love these people and you walk among them and save those who are crushed in spirit. I pray God for our protection, our family and our friends and our church, and these individuals that I lift up to you. I pray Psalms 91 and I plead your blood over them. I pray that you heal them and bind up their wounds. They cannot hear, they cannot see, they cannot speak, and they are blind, deaf and ignorant of your truth. I stand humbly before you God and ask you to open their ears, their minds, and their eyes. Some call them the scum of society, worthless, scavengers, unclean, and not savable. I see them as future saints adorned in crowns of beauty, gladness, and garments of praise. Lord, I know your truth is for every man, woman, and child. I pray for warrior angels commanded by you Lord, to set a hedge of protection around them, to guard them, so that when your vessels of saints come in contact with them and speak your truth and salvation the light in your vessels will not be your saints they see, it will be you, their Redeemer, their Savior, whose words will turn the lost to being found and the despondent to having hope, and the hopeless to be full of joy, all to be planted in faith of our Lord Jesus Christ with assurance of salvation. Save them, God, our doors are open, and we welcome them into your house.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Virtuous Woman Award!

My beautiful tiny friend Renee nominated me for this “Virtuous Woman Award!”

I reference her size due to her most recent post, which  had me chuckling  called “Short People .” Renee may be tiny, yet she has the biggest heart  and will get down in the mud to pray for a friend or love one, this lady knows how to cry out to God! Renee is sensitive to others emotions and feels deeply what they are going through due to being tender-hearted, compassionate and caring. Renee gives of her time never expecting anything in return.  Great things come in small packages, Renee is an amazing wife, mother and Nana!  I am honored to call her my friend!

Thank you Renee for this nomination.

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.”

Debra’s Thoughts on this Award!

Originally, I felt I didn’t deserve this award, as I refreshed my reading on  Proverbs 31. I’m not a proverbial wife I didn’t  measure up to the perfection of the proverbial woman. I’m divorced. In the past, I  tended to ignore the Proverbs woman all together because reading it made me  feel defeated.

After getting this award, I read it again then discovered something new, maybe I am growing into a Proverbial woman, just as I am a work in progress with Jesus.

I learned I am worthy, a warrior for Christ, a daughter, who is loved by ABBA, as I have faced many hard battles. I didn’t chose my divorce, it left me heartbroken. I had to learn to be courageous, God clothed me in his strength when I was weak.  I had to fight to keep my dignity.  When my man said I was unworthy God showed me my worth, wooing me with his ancient love song and wrapping it around my heart. There came a time when I could only rely on God, which built trust. God placed a shield of trust  over me to teach me I could rely on him, he would never abandon me or forsake me.  I believe in kindness, giving to others, being available to help. I’m creative, busy, a good manager, and I care for my household, my mother. I am blessed beyond measure with a beautiful daughter, who is my sunshine, my wonderful sun in law and four adorable grandchildren who I have  shared the story of Jesus and how good he is to me; all of us. I have been privileged to rock five beautiful babies, laying hands on them in prayer. I watched them come to know Jesus and seeing that love grow is amazing,  baby dedications, witnessing  many of them accepting Christ as their Savior and baptism. God is showing me, a divorced woman, can be a proverbial woman too…… I didn’t give up, I pushed forward despite my circumstances, for you must survive, even when broken hearted, I was persistant! Look at all these blessings! Thank you Jesus!

There is Hope for the Addict! Prayer

When you have done all you can do, within your means, to help a loved one who is addicted, without enabling, remember in the chaos, that prayer is a mighty weapon! I have lost one brother, two best friends to addiction, and now living with my baby brothers addiction, I am writing about it in hopes that people will not judge , just pray for him and others battling this addiction. I see the good in them, I know the good in them, addiction is robbing and killing our loved ones, it can happen to anyone, even you.

Never put drugs in your body given by a friend, say “NO”; Never put drugs in your body given by a doctor without out knowing the side effects, you have a right to say “NO” to these prescriptions being pushed on doctors by the big Pharm companies, use your voice to ask for something better or safer. Say “NO” ; know what you are taking, research, make safe choices. Below is a prayer for families and the ones going through addiction, you can change it to sister, mother, dad, cousin, etc…..Just pray for them, please, and their families!please take time to read the following if you are struggling with addiction:

Dear Lord it is my prayer that You would free my “Brother” from the drugs that have become an addiction to him.. and which have almost broken the family apart and caused us all such pain and distress.

Father You know the anger that seems to lurk within him and the explosive outbursts that are so difficult to cope with. Lord He needs Jesus in his life and the indwelling Holy Spirit in his heart and I ask that You would convince him of his need for Jesus – and convict him of: “sin and righteousness and judgement”… just as Your Word has said.. and bring Him I pray, to recognize that this addiction to drugs is not Your will for anyone and is likely to end in tragedy if not dealt with soon.

I thank You that You care for people like my brother who have gone so far astray from the way of truth. Thank You that You have never given up on him despite his addiction to drugs. Thank You that he can come to You to seek for deliverance and know that You will not turn him away. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and thank You that You are faithful and true to Your word – even when we prove faithless.

Lord I know that Your Word promises a way of deliverance to all who seek You and I believe that in Jesus is found healing and wholeness, salvation and security – deliverance and joy. And Lord I ask for You to deliver my brother from these drugs and free him from being in bondage to this cursed addiction.

Help him I pray. Save him Lord and set him free from these drugs on which he has become so dependent. Give him the means to break loose from drugs and the ability to see it through to the end. He knows that on his own he will fail but Lord I do believe that in Christ he can be set free – help him Lord in Jesus name.

Please release my brother from the angers and pain that dwell inside of him. Almighty Father, take him in your hands and guide him to better choices, for a life without the need for drugs or alcohol. That the trouble that he is now facing, is left behind him. Lord, my brother is a wonderful man, give him the courage and the faith to believe in himself, and realize how much he is loved and cherished.

Father, hear my prayers for him and all others that are living the same kind of life. Heal them Lord, let them rejoice in a life of self respect, respect for others and love for themselves, and most of all the Glory of your love. I know in you, that he and all the others can find peace and happiness. O’ God our Father, please hear our prayers.

Dear Lord I bring my brother to You whose reliance on drugs and addiction to medication is causing myself and our family serious episodes of aggression, manipulation, violence, depression, irrationality, fears, walking on eggshells, deep concerns and utter sadness.

Lord we really don’t know what to do and we seem to have run out of ideas and suggestions and there is no one but You to whom we can turn.

Lord he is prone to mood swings – sometimes seeming depressed and at other times hyper active.. and yet at other times is only able to sleep – sometimes for the best part of a day.. Help us we pray to help HIM.. and release him Lord, from this unhealthy reliance on drugs. Heal him of the negative effects that they are having on his physical and mental health and return him to normal health and strength we ask in Jesus name.

Lord, you as our creator, we trust in your name so we call for your help day and night. I have so many fears day and night, deep in my soul I cry every second of my life because I lost my brother due to his extreme drug addiction for so many years. I pity him a lot. I have embraced and told him how much I really love and care for him as a sister, yet now he doesn’t accept it nor does he understand it.

Lord, you know how I feel every moment I think of my brother.I didn’t realize that the world would be so cruel to my parents as my brother chose drugs more than anything else in this world. I have always tried to support& be there for him . Yet things turned differently than I imagined. It hurts a lot to see my brother being sick, going through with-drawls, sick  physically and mentally, then calling ambulances when he overdoses, dealing with his psychological repetitive patterns of verbal, emotional and mental abuse to myself and  family members. Lord his words destroy and hurt to our core. Lord we humbly come to you to rebuke this addiction, the verbally , mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually  abusive patterns caused by addiction, Lord we rebuke the manipulation, stealing and the lies separation and destruction of the family unit in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, come sit with us and raise a standard.

I will never stop begging for your help and for those families who are suffering the same problem as mine. Abide in us in those hard moments. Give us all courage to Stand, fill us with your strength, protect our families.

You are a loving God and we praise and thank You for all Your goodness to us and to all people – We bless You for our lives and for all the joy and grace that You so readily bestow on all Your creation.

Lord we lift up an increasing number of men and women who suffer from drug addiction and pray that You would provide them with the grace and strength to reach out to You for the necessary help and guidance that they may need – as they take the important steps to recovering their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Give those that are addicted to drugs the will, perseverance, courage and ability to take the first step to regain their health and wholeness. Comfort, protect and succor friends and family members that are affected by those that are trapped in drug addiction.

Give courage and hope to all who are seeking to break its demonic hold over the lives of so many and may the power of Your love and grace transform their lives – knowing that Jesus Christ alone is able to break the power of drugs, return a soul into freedom and bring beauty for brokenness – we stand and rebuke drug addiction from our families, asking for protection of our loved one, granting all peace, hope, Love, and Joy. Believing the best is yet to come,  this we ask in Jesus name,Amen

Sometimes there are no words in the valley………..You may feel Shattered, yet we shall rise, and God will restore us! All prayers welcomed to encourage those in the valley!

Having A Rough Day?

Are things not going the way you planned today? Are you in midst of various trials?

All of us are going through unexpected events or things like relationship issues, separation, divorce, job loss, health issues, death of love one, custody issues, abuse, addictions, homelessness, attacks on our beliefs, morals, values and ethics, our very integrity.  These various assaults can leave you feeling hopeless. I personally have gone through many of these trials. I just want you to know there is HOPE!

Don’t focus on the problem, put your focus on Jesus! Below is a mild situation I went through recently, that had me stressing. Now if this had happened to me in my twenties, I’d be ranting, cussing, mad at the inconvenience. Despite what I know, I let it get to me. Yet God knew my need before I ever did, an dthis problem was more than just about the tires, there were things going on in the spiritual realm than I even perceived.

A few weeks ago, I ended up having 3 flat tires all in one week . I put air in tires, went got the tires plugged. Something this simple could have been a real problem, but a few days before a friend had blessed me with a gift of unexpected money due to the fact she knows I’m currently jobless and caring for my mother. All my friend said was that it was put on her heart to help me. My attitude about the tires were “Thank you Lord, for showing me the tires were flat, before driving my vehicle, thank you Lord my tires didn’t blow out while driving.”

Unknowingly, I would soon be traveling several stats away on a long  trip to rescue a husband and wife with four children from a bad situation, to take them to safety. Remember, I have no money, I’m broke as a two dollar bill. I received another gift of money,  which purchased 3 new tires, for the trip, and enough money to cover expenses on this trip. God already knew about this family, and God knows I’m willing.  God provided the means and the way. The family is doing great! God took what seemed a minor attack against me and turned it into a powerful testimony of his goodness, for his glory, turning my bad situation into good. The story doesn’t end here. Another person was very grateful for me helping this family and when I dropped them off, I was handed money, placed in my palm, with a grateful amount of thanks,  the exact amount of all my expenses I had incurred to get this family to their new location. Remember if you are willing, God can and will use you!

Maturity and wisdom have taught me that I can declare this change in plans will be a good thing, for my good and not evil, I am the head and not the tail. I am a child of God.  My Daddy is in control of all the cattle on the hills and all the banks on earth and if God says it is so , it will be! I believe! God is in control. Remember, prior to flat tires, I got a gift of money, because God already knew my need before me. God also knew the need of this family that was in the near future,  What the enemy meant for bad, God used for all our  Good!

Simply put you can’t fall apart every time things don’t go as planned. Rejoice you are part of a far bigger picture than you can even imagine. Rejoice, God is working it out, be willing!

Psalms 3:3 –But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.

Heavenly Father, My plans are not working out, you are in control, and I have faith you are working things out for my good. I ask you to help me stay positive with a Good Outlook and Perspective on things turning around for good. Lord will you lift my Heart, Head, Hands, Attitudes, Moods and most importantly my Hope, which is anchored in you, Jesus. You Lord ,alone, are the lifter of my soul. Thank you for helping me to rise. Amen in Jesus name.

My Fight With Shrubs!

I’m standing here in the front yard feeling blessed. Why?

Well, it’s hot in the south, I borrowed my neighbors electric hedge trimmer with good intentions of trimming my mother’s hedges and bushes. I’ve been at it two hours, it’s hard work.

I’m dressed head to toe like Farmer Brown, long checkered shirt, yoga pants, t shirt and hat. That hedger can really cut limbs, debris evidence is all over sidewalk. I was ok until I realized, I can’t lift the hedger up high, above past my shoulders, as my muscles went weak, then my arms gave out, I just can’t do it. The reason is due to my double mastectomy five years ago.

I’m sure someone will find fault with my efforts. Folks around here tend to see negative.

Yet, I stand here today, and I rejoice in my healing, scars and tears that God healed me. I am most grateful for this day the Lord has given me!

Don’t ever take things for granted, God takes care of the Giants, so we can handle the little stuff.

PS- I must confess when I saw the giant brown recluse spider, my intentions to try again went way South😜🤪🙄😬😱💯

Blessings 🙏💞❣️💞

Friday Thoughts!

Hello Readers and Bloggers!

I was thinking about the bible, how much the word of God means to me personally, while my memories led me back in time to my first time seeing a bible, opening it and looking inside.

My parents didn’t discuss faith much, nor did we attend church together often as a family. Yet there was always this “Big White Book” in our house which  I was fascinated with before I could read.

I was pulled to this book, opening it running my fingers over the pages, knowing there was a treasure , just not sure how to get it.

The “Beautiful Pictures” drew me as well, that were inside the bible. Oh, how I remember studying those pictures.

Now , that I am older, I see how God planted the seed for me to know his word.

I write this to encourage all that are in this world, to say , well its the best book I ever read! It changed my life!

Reading can be a little scary, not written like most books, yet if you pray before you open it, God will reveal his truth , to you in a way you can understand.

The more I read, the more that I feel was revealed. Then I did bible studies and devotions!

Here is a link to the bible study / devotion app I use, I love it.

The Bible App

If you don’t have a bible, call a few churches and ask if they have donations of a bible. Great versions are King James, NIV, AMP, MSG.

For you must survive, even though you feel like you are dying!

Have you ever gone through an ultimate betrayal, caused by a love one? When you discover their betrayal, the shock catches you totally off guard. Your body’s response to the betrayal feels as though it reacted separately from within your soul? Is it possible  you were split in two? Your body begins to convulse, loosing control, wracked with uncontrollable sobs and the pain, so piercing, that it burrows out from deep within your body, putting you in survivor mode? Did you ever wonder, why does my body go into survivor mode? I will tell you why…….. “For you must survive, even though you feel like you are dying.”

Survive you say…? Why would I want to survive? My world has fallen apart; I’m in such pain deep within I cannot even function. I feel like I might be losing my mind. I cannot even feel normal. I feel rejected, unloved and unworthy. How could someone I love, hurt me so deeply and knowingly do it?

Maybe it is time you heard the story of a young girl, named Rahab who not only survived, she overcame, and had a “Beautiful” life. This is her story. Her story starts in Josh 2:1, she is grown when she encounters the spies, runs an inn.  This is my perception of her early life

The Book of Joshua tells the story of a young beautiful woman, named Rahab, who lived in the city of Jericho. Rahab loved her daddy very much. Her daddy was the one man she loved and trusted the most. Unknown to Rahab, the family was going through very harsh times, while she daydreamed, wondering who her father would give her hand in marriage too, she looked forward to the days of being a mother and raising her own family. On the day, she thought she was going to find out who her future husband would be, her daddy instead told her, he had no choice, but to sell her, into the oldest profession known to man; prostitution. In her father’s eyes, Rahab was the key link to the family’s survival.

I have often wondered, how Rahab, barely a teenager, could have even been prepared for what was ahead in this oldest of professions. How this child must have suffered from heartache, rejection, and feeling of being lost and alone. I can only imagine the strain of betrayal put on her relationships with her family. It is clear she did not like her circumstances, yet it was the hand she had been dealt. So Rahab, instead of falling apart, quickly began to do things her way. Rahab makes the best of her situation, by using her sharp mind to use her profession to advance herself and buy into a successful thriving inn. Because she lived near the wall of Jericho, there were many times she would hear the stories of the Hebrews “God” by the travelers who were passing through Jericho. Rahab had long ago denounced her peoples false God, she was intrigued with the Hebrew “God”, who had parted the sea for his people to escape from the Pharaoh. The Hebrews reputation preceded them, with rumors of war, and countless victories, cities fell at their feet. Their God was a mighty God. Then Rahab learned that he was a God who had great concern for his people. The Hebrews “God” was compassionate to his people, having forgiven them countless times, and then coming to rescue them, and bring them out of captivity. Something stirred in Rahab, in her soul, what would it feel like to have someone concerned about her that might care for her or even come to her rescue from the plight she had been dealt in life. Rahab also learned that the Hebrews did not tolerate, harlots, that they actually stoned them to death. Even knowing this Rahab choose to love God and began to pray for him.

Would God love her, would he be concerned for her, despite the horrible life she had a lead, could he find compassion enough to forgive her, and come rescue her from a life of pure hell. When Rahab began to pray to God, she knew there was a good chance of rejection once more in her life, Rahab was not Hebrew, she had committed horrible sins, yet she prayed on faith and walked on faith that God would hear her cries. The one thing I noticed about Rahab is that she is persistent in all matters. She does not take “NO” for an answer. Very soon an opportunity presented itself to Rahab that was her chance, to be heard by God through the Hebrews. When Joshua, sent two spies to Jericho, to search out the city, the King discovered they were there and began to search for them, to put them to death. Rahab on learning this then changed her own life, if discovered, and provided the two spies with a hiding place on the rooftop of her inn. Rahab made the spies vow, and swear unto her by the Lord, that because she showed them kindness, that in return kindness would be shown back to her fathers’ house, giving her a true token. The spies promised, our lives for yours, and then Rahab helped them to escape and return to Joshua with a full report. Later when the walls of Jericho fell, Rahab and her whole family were saved, because Rahab looked past her circumstances, and believed God would deliver her and her family. The story does not stop here. Rahab did not just survive; her life and all her family’s lives were spared death and destruction, and Rahab overcame and received deliverance.

After Jericho fell, Rahab, resettled into Israel, and then later married Salmon, one of the spies, an aristocrat at the time in the house of Judah. Rahab then bore Boaz, a faithful man of God. If you go to Matthew Chapter 1:5, and you follow the genealogy, you will discover that Rahab by walking on faith had spiritual and physical deliverance and when she married into the Judah tribe, she became an ancestor in the lineage of Jesus. What a profound story this is, a woman sold into prostitution, rejected by her family, faced death to hide two spies, who she knew was in Joshua army, who lead by the most high God, the God of heaven and earth, and Rahab’s life and all her families lives were spared, turning her life over to God and through his mercy, she was restored, married into the Lord’s family, and raised a Godly son, Boaz who later married Ruth. Which is a direct lineage to Jesus.

So no matter what your past, there is a merciful and loving God who does indeed love you, who is concerned for you, who has compassion, and will come and rescue you.

If you are looking back on your past and wanting a new future, a restored life, follow the command of Act 2:38:

“38Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

What a wonderful and merciful God we serve. A God of Second Chances, who will take a harlot, with a darkened past, transform her, into a great saint of faith, and put her in the direct lineage of Jesus.

For you must survive, even though you feel like you are dying!

Saturday Thoughts!

“Your in my thoughts and prayers!

This is a very comforting phrase given to others in times of hardship and loss. People hear this saying when going through difficult times, on cards or verbally, it’s a good thing to hear, yet it just kind of leaves the person hearing it hanging….

Where is the action of LOVE, COMPASSION, EMPATHY?

We as Christian’s tend to overuse this phrase, when possibly we are gasping to say the right thing to another who is suffering or going through a crisis or financial hardships.Finding words to comfort another is a difficult task, as in certain times words just don’t cut it, a human needs more…………….

It is overwhelming for someone suffering to rationalize asking for help when faced with an overwhelming crisis.

Those words just float over someone suffering, even when well intended.

My thoughts are ….

It’s “Great” to be in someone thoughts, knowing the person is thinking of you and all you are enduring,  while trying to overcome a crisis, knowing someone cares enough to get on their knees and earnestly praying for you.

The church knows the power of prayer. The lost don’t know the power of prayer. Unity comes through action from LOVE. Love is a universal lanuage a verb intended to show action to believers and non believers.

The church must reach deeper, as the word “LOVE” is a verb, a word of action. How do we apply “LOVE?”  Saying it to another shows me they care about others. Yet let me add a little salt, if someone is in your thoughts, maybe adding a little action to those thoughts by putting actions to your thoughts, reaching out and showing a valued person who is in your thoughts, what needs can you help them address. Maybe you could cook  a meal and deliver dinner, help with yard work, provide gas card, pay their light bill, every little action helps those in overwhelmed situations. It could be as simple as a hug, visit, or just listening.

Recently there was a story on local news stating a gentleman had gotten behind on paying his HOA dues for his subdivision. Per HOA department he was subsequently evicted from his home by HOA bylaws. Someone said “He is in our thoughts and prayers,” a few days later I saw an update on the story, someone started a go fund me page, raising all the money needed, to get this man back in his home. The second person had this man in his thoughts, he prayed, then took action. Crisis over!

A woman going through hardships, found it hard to discuss her financial situation fearing judgement from friends and family, it’s not easy to admit to hard times. A person at church observed this woman was struggling and wanted to help. The woman was in their thoughts, causing them to pray, then the person got with others, kept the woman anonymous, asking for donations to help out. That Sunday she slipped prepaid credit cards, for cell, food, cloths and gas in the woman’s bible with a big red bow, so it would be discovered. The woman was in shock and blessed. She wasn’t even sure how someone knew as she never spoke her situation. Yet someone observed, prayed then acted. Crisis Over!

A woman just had a mastectomy,  feeling alone, scared and betrayed. Overwhelmed in a fog, not processing events, her husband had walked out, leaving her prior to her diagnoses, she lost her job, then the state took away without warning the little unemployment she received, her home was foreclosed, there was little to eat, getting to appointments were nearly impossible the woman felt defeated. She had gotten cards, that read ” you are in our thoughts and prayers” no one came to visit, she was hungry, she gave all her processions, belongings and furniture to a local church to help recent victims of a tornado, she had no money to pay for storage, it felt good to help others in their need. When she prayed,  she wondered where her help would come from, where were her friends, family? She never asked why…………….. God saw her, covered her and provided for all her needs. In the midst of her own crisis, overwhelmed, she saw the needs of others and gave all she had to give, putting action in LOVE.

I will close here, hoping that in the future, you are able to keep others going through hard situation, that they are kept in our thoughts, praying for them always , stepping forward , taking action to help in any way possible!

Thursday Thoughts!

Hello-  Thank you for reading my Blog!

Wow, I just saw I have close to 90 followers. I am Super Excited and grateful that you read my thoughts on my blog!

I thought maybe we could share a little something about ourselves, as if we were at a coffee shop,  thinking hmmmm…..what would we talk about?

So here goes, if you haven’t already figured it out, I LOVE JESUS, I write to encourage others and myself, at times I feel compelled to write and then there are times I need to write and cant find the words…writers block, frustrating.

I am a little quirky, eccentric, introverted yet even I get lonely for human companionship, we all need friends, maybe to have coffee,  share thoughts,  lift and encourage one another. Point is we are all made to want connections.Maybe, just maybe, we are more alike than we can probably imagine.

Well I love to garden, the feel of dirt in my hands, mapping out a garden design, planting beautiful flowers. I am amazed at the flowers that grow in my garden, I learned from the best, my mom, in my opinion. My mom says if you kiss every plant before you put it in the ground, to show it LOVE, the seeds will spread creating an amazing garden.

That is what I hope for my Blog, that I create an Amazing garden! Here are some pics of my flowers: Hope you share back in comments section !

Have a Great Thursday!

A Wolf and a Warrior!

Be aware all you unbelievers, there is a ravenous wolf who is on the prowl,

He is coming to you in Sheep clothing’s; he disguises himself as your friend.

And he comes to the light.

He does not want to eat you, he is seeking to destroy you, stealing you’re most beloved.

He is sniffing around, closing in, and getting very close.

He is hunting you down, discovering all your weakness.

I know him well.

In my innocence of youth, the wolf stole many things from me.

He stole my identity, my confidence, my self-esteem, and my love for myself.

The wolf stole my beloved husband and child, my health, my career, my wealth, and my home.

Taking my most loving relationships and shredded them to pieces!

On the inside, the wolf had ripped me apart, leaving me for dead!

In the aftermath, as I lay in the chaos, confusion, hurt and strife,

A hand reached down to lift me out of the pit

And up out of the miry clay rose a woman who was hand-picked by God!

Beware Wolf Spirit who comes in Sheep clothing

I thank it is time you know who I really am,

God walked my path with me, he never left me

God drew his wings around me and covered me in his protective arms

God lead me to restoration!

God drew my spirit, he led me to repentance, God filled me with his Holy Spirit, and I was baptized in Jesus Name!!

My sins were wiped clean , white as snow!

I am a child of the highest God!

I am sweet, kind and gentle.

I love all people, with a deep compassion!

I have awakened, and been reformed by the Potters Hands!

I was made for a purpose and a destiny!

The gifts hidden in me are flowing out producing good fruit!

Step back and hear my roar, before you stands a woman fully confident in whom she is in Christ!

I am a watcher, a guardian, and a prayer warrior.

I know how to call on the name of JESUS!

I am receiving knowledge, wisdom, and the weapons of battle.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

I am everything with Christ and nothing without him!

I can address the Holy Spirit in the heavenly language of speaking in tongues; I am a wailer, a crier, someone who will stand in the gap.

Get thee away from my people! I plead the blood of Christ upon them.

God will protect them, deliver them and save them, for they are future children of the highest God!

I take back my life and all you stole!! I bind you up and cast you to the deepest seas to never return.

I unleash from heaven all God’s blessing and miracles for all people, in Jesus name.

I am worthy, and I open my hands to receive the miracles and blessings of God!

I am his warrior, and I will serve God all the days of my life!

As God promises Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all who are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

I will teach my daughter and my grandchildren all I know! They will be firmly planted on a firm foundation of truth, of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Thank you, Jesus!!!! I am humbly your child!

I Am On Edge

I am on edge
Trying not to fall,

Needing to believe all is not lost.
I am on the edge

looking in, wanting, trying, needing to believe

You are really there for me

I am searching with arms wide open

My prayers are from the edge

I am thirsty for your word
Hungry for your touch
Gripped in a struggle

A trail, wanting, needing
To feel your presence.

Pour out your spirit
Cleanse me anew
My eyes are open
I need your tender mercies
Washing over me, time after time
Straight from the edge
Back into your everlasting arms
With words of Praise

I am Running
Running, Running
Back to you , Lord!

I am on edge trying not to fall!

Oh Little Child!

Oh little child, here I am, Oh little child, Come

There is no more pain, no more tears, I am here, come little child come.

I will wash those hurts away, and fill your mind with peace, come little child come.

Drop the anchor of your anger, and step into the realm of love, my understanding surpasses all, I am here, come little child come.

I was with you in your darkest hour, I felt all your anguish, I suffered in your pain, come little child come, the time has come, to wash away your pain, come little child come.

Lay down at my feet, all that burdens your heart, lay down at my feet, those torturous thoughts, lay them at my feet, submit them to me, they are now mine to never hurt you again. Come little child come.

👆Rising Above Your Circumstances!

As many of you can imagine, this downward economy spiral, has in fact, left many of us worn out, worried, stressed, pressured and anxiety ridden in an ever changing economy.

I have been in fear of not being able to find a job, for the first time in my adult life and I have entered the longest unemployment period of my career.

Bills keep coming that I cannot pay, my insurance expired, and the day to day worries are hitting me at an all time high.

I recently heard Pastor Palmer preach a sermon on “Mining Hidden Potential,” and how we as individuals need to look past the outside of individuals and dig down deep to find the worth and talents of the people currently in our circle of life. As individuals we need to remember to uplift, encourage and support one another during these hard times during the fiery trials.

God’s goodness can be found in any stressful situations, we just need to remain calm as God is still in control. We must give thanks in all situations, to be in continual prayer about our situations, asking for and receiving the wisdom of God who will direct our path through these trials.

Everyday we come in contact with people from all walks of life. Just imagine what hidden treasures may lie inside an angry person, the person with low self esteem, the hopeless person, the poverty stricken person, or the addicted person. We as the church must see past their exteriors and look into their minds and hearts and start mining to find the hidden treasure by establishing relationships. Their hidden talents are lying dormant. Relationship opens the doorway to lead someone to salvation, helping them to develop a personal relationship with God by laying baby steps in the mining expedition of relationship. Prepare yourself to be open, hard work means you might get a little dirty, not spiritually, because in order to win that soul you might just have to get down in the mud with them to pull them out of the pit.

So keep in mind, even though many of us are laid off, unemployed or facing financial hardship please do not judge, as anyone could be in this position. The trial could possibly have nothing to do with that person’s hardship and more to do with how you react to help that person in their crisis. Consider it a blessing from God to use your resources and talents. Personally , I have slowed down spending more time with my family. I take better care of myself and quite frankly I am not running to and fro. Best of all, I have spent real quality time with my daughter and grandchildren. I have watched my daughter blossom into a beautiful independent adult who is a wonderful mom. I have seen my grandchildren grow from small babes into walking talking, inquisitive children who desire to know everything about life and God. I was given precious time with them. God has been in the midst of all my stress and worries surrounding me with great mentors and support. God had answered my prayers, as I had prayed for rest and peace and had mined out my own hidden talent which I now share with others.

Jesus in the parables of Matthew 13 found a hidden treasure, it is actually in each of us, he saw past our filth and sin looking inside seeing something of value which gave him great joy. Jesus then gave up everything and bought each of us with a price. Hallelujah, as we are his hidden treasure.

Gods servants need to be mindful in prayer and supplication for it is our duty to pray and seek the Lord looking for guidance asking “Who Lord has hidden treasure that is waiting to be mined? Please show me these individuals the way you see them, Lord.”

Now, take a moment to look around and ask yourself, “Who in my life can I mentor to help rise above their circumstances to find their hidden treasure for the Kingdom of God?”

Just a thought!

Dancing in the Spirit

I am broken laying at your feet

Listening to the rhythm of the music in my head

My humble soul cries out to you

Without utterance from my lips

Tears flow like rivers, running down my face

My heart is pained beyond comprehension

My body resists movement planted firmly in place
Then, Oh Lord, I feel your presence, as the Holy Ghost starts to descend.

Deep inside me to places I thought were long dead.

I stand to my feet and raise my hands in praise, to your glory.

Life starts to flow, from the crown of my head to the soul of my feet.

My body swaying to the Holy Spirit, moving left to right.

Blessed and carried away to that special place.

Deep Inside, where only you and I exist, that Holy Sanctuary.

My Healing Place.

My refuge from the storm.

Trusting in your wondrous love with all my heart.

Dancing blindly as the Holy Spirit guides me.

For through you, Jesus, I come alive, I am restored.

Dancing my way crazy like David in your holy grace.

Dancing in the Spirit of Faith.

Waiting on promises buried within your word.

You Jesus, give me long overdue rest with a precious new breath.

I am broken, at your feet.

Dancing in the Spirit, rejoicing with all my might.

Thank you Jesus!

Sweet Surrender

I am Amazed
At the price you paid
The love you gave
You could have turned back

You felt all our fears, knew our sins
Each and everyone
You cried out; Father why do you forsake me
You cried out and no one heard

I am Amazed
That day, you hung your head
you prayed, and said it is done

I am Amazed
Your love so profound
the day you hung on the cross

Now it is I, sitting here
wanting to be so near you
a divide so wide, a mountain high
I can feel you all around
I need your touch

I am Amazed
This day, it is so simple
I bow my head to pray
I give you all my fears, I tell you all my sins
I feel your hand on my head
I give in to your sweet surrender
I cried out and you heard

I am so Amazed
Sweet surrender, fear no more
Sweet surrender; sin is gone
Sweet surrender, surrounding me evermore

I am Amazed
Thank you Jesus, for being there
Sweet Surrender, with everlasting joy!

adult beverage breakfast celebrationDo you think it is strange to have a friend you have never met?

I have a “TRUE” friend who I have never meet, we go back to 2009, that’s ten years that have transpired, she has heard all my regrets, pain, torment, brokenness and heartbreak. She has inspired, encouraged and gave me hope.

My unmet friend has listened while I cried, there was nothing I would hide. You may not understand, tell a stranger your secrets, you say, “I’d rather die! ” That is the root you don’t understand, all my “met” friends walked away, when my life turned upside down one day.

My unmet friend and I have never met, we have never hugged, or sat across a table drinking coffee, our children never played together, we have never eaten a meal together, or sat on a pew at a really good sermon.

My unmet friend is my soulfriend, a friend sent by God, to help me through my firey trials, my unmet friend got on her knees and prayed prayers I felt states away, she saw the real me, never judging, always listening, always present. My unmet friend not only got down in the mud of my mess, she prayed me out the pit!

A fierce prayer warrior often overlooked, misunderstood, God knows how to hide his best!!

My unmet friend is a treasure who knows how to mine deep, to see a person’s heart and not give up in defeat!

She is an avid reader who bypasses the book cover to see all that is hidden inside. A loving wife, mother and nonna, she is absolutely the best! She has raised two beautiful girls and now Nonna to four wonderful grandbabies.

She simply sees the best in us all whether “met” or “unmet.”

I am grateful for my sweet Godly unmet friend who I have strong ties with, today I wanted her to know, she is my TRUE Best Friend and I will always stand by her side. One day we shall meet.

My Blessing

➕Power of Prayer. I was told I couldn’t have a child, I prayed, persistently, and God gave me my Blessing, a little girl. This poem is dedicated to God! Thank you for my precious child➕

Years ago,
A prayer answered,
“God, Please give me one child!”
Then a Blessing from God,
You are so precious, Jessi!
a pretty baby girl,
with a pretty smile,
and those cute little red curls,
you are my angel,
sent just for me,
I will never ever let you go,
You are always in my heart,
for you are my little girl,
Now your time has come,
for your gift to enter our world,
I am so glad God gave you your gift,
of a precious baby girl,
a pretty baby girl,
with a pretty smile,
and same cute red little curls,
She is your angel,
And a part of me,
I will never ever let you two go,
You will always be in my heart,
with unconditional love,
for you both are my little girls.

Years ago, when God promised me one, Jessica,
I could never have dreamed, One would become Two!
You see Jessica that is how our father in heaven works!
God always gives us more than we ask for, You and your baby are proof!
My Heart’s desire filled and overflowing, from a prayer, answered years ago.

Today, I Put Your Name in a Box!

Today, I put your name in a box.

It’s not for a raffle or a prize; but the gift of Salvation and Eternal Everlasting Life.

You are my one soul, as I go to bended knees, my hands lay on this box, as I cry out …Please.

Lord I lift my one soul to you, who is crushed in spirit, and needs your truth.

Believing God will open your heart, your ears will hear and he will draw your spirit near.

You see there is something you need to know, I am praying, because I am crying out for your soul.

You are my one soul, as I go to bended knees, my hands lay on this box, as I cry out …Please.

Today I put your name in a box because I am falling in love with your soul.

And I took it to the cross. Laying it down at Jesus feet.

The Lord knelt and untied the box that held your name so dear.

He said you are worthy; he loves you and God began to draw you unto him.

I see you on bended knees, your heart wide open to God,

Crying repentance, as his Holy Spirit descends, filling your temple.

You see there is something you need to know.

Today, I put your name in a box, because I am falling in love with your soul.

I am not looking at your past; I am looking at your future, as you stand before the King adorned in crowns of beauty, gladness and garments of praise.

Today I put your name in a box, I am crying out for your soul, Because I Love you!

Today I put your name in a box, I am crying out for your soul, Because I Love you!

Today I put your name in a box, I am crying out for your soul, Because I Love you!

Never Doubt someone loves you and is praying for your soul!

Cover Me Lord! By:Debra Hearn Jones~ 9-26-10

My favorite scripture is Psalms 91 which is a great prayer of protection for believers and those who love Jesus. ( http://faithisland.org/bible/psalm-91-a-prayer-for-protection/)

Verse 4 is my favorite :

He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

God is literally hiding you and protecting you.  I encourage you to click the link on Psalms 91 above and learn how to apply it to your life.  Psalms 91 inspired me, specifically verse 4, to write “Cover Me Lord,” below. Hope it Blesses you!

Cover Me Lord

I will dwell in you Lord
Always resting in your shadow
My never ending refuge
Only in God will I trust
I will dwell in you Lord

Cover me….
Beneath your wings
As I wait on you Lord
Still beneath your feathers
Cover Me… Cover Me……

There is no fear
Covered with your wings
I am safe in your refuge
Hidden and kept safe
Cover me…

I will dwell in you Lord
Who guards all my ways
Who lifts me up.
Who calls my name.
And I will answer, in you, Oh Lord.
For you alone will deliver and honor me.
With all my heart, because I love you Lord.
Cover Me…With your Wings and I shall be safe!
